A Relaxing Oasis: The Sunset Pool at this hotel is like a haven for relaxation. I found myself soaking in the jacuzzi, feeling all my worries melt away. It's like stepping into a tranquil paradise, complete with refreshing drinks and a poolside menu.
Limited Period of Scaffolding: Due to exterior work, the Coral Wing will have scaffolding from April 1 to April 28.

During my recent business trip to Ishigaki, my director chose the renowned Intercontinental for our stay, and I must say, it was an excellent choice. The hotel offers an incredible steam room experience, using Ishigaki's own natural herb Getto. Not only does it provide outstanding health benefits with its antibacterial and antioxidation effects, but it also offers a truly refreshing and rejuvenating escape. The attention to detail and the use of local ingredients truly sets Intercontinental apart from other hotels in the area.
The only minor issue I encountered was that the hotel could benefit from a facelift.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing, perfect for a family vacation! The facilities for kids, like the indoor playground and outdoor pool with slide, are super fun. The spacious and comfortable rooms, along with the friendly staff, make the stay even more enjoyable. The delicious breakfast buffet, although crowded at times, is a jaw-dropping experience. The resort's location, although 20 minutes away from the city, is well-connected with public transport, and there's even a convenience store inside the hotel. The direct beach access, public bath, sauna, and other common areas are impressive. The large-sized room offers a beautiful view of the sea. The swimming pools and snorkeling in the coral reef make the beach experience unforgettable. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast selection is top-notch. The view from the room is great, with impressive facilities nearby.

Our stay at Intercontinental was amazing. The facilities were great, with spacious rooms and a breathtaking view of the sea. We especially loved the variety of swimming pools available for us to enjoy. The beach had a coral reef, making snorkeling a fun activity, despite the slightly cold water in late November. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Another highlight was the delicious food at the hotel restaurant, with the teppanyaki restaurant standing out as a memorable dining experience. we had a fantastic time and highly recommend Intercontinental.
There was nothing we didn't like about our stay at Intercontinental 😊.

The views from the room were spectacular, adding that extra touch of romance to my escape with my partner. The staff were always attentive and friendly, making us feel welcomed and comfortable. The pools were incredible, offering a refreshing dip in the warm weather. We also enjoyed the convenience of having restaurants, shops, and cafes within walking distance.
The food prices were a bit steep, causing us to venture out for meals more often than expected. The gym could use some more equipment to offer a better workout experience.

This resort exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location gave me easy access to the beach and various activities. The pools were a highlight, with fun options for all ages. The sunset views from the beach were stunning. The room was spacious and had a lovely ocean view, and the bathroom was impeccable. I enjoyed the American breakfast included in my package. The staff was professional and helpful, and there were good options for food and shopping nearby.
I had a minor issue with staff communication at times.

We had a wonderful stay at this relaxed and nice hotel. The large, well-maintained garden and proximity to the beach were perfect for our family vacation. The pool was ideal for our children, and our newly refurbished room on a higher floor was spacious and comfortable. The variety of restaurants and high-quality food made dining a delight. The staff, especially Jean, Shoku, and Tametomi, were friendly and always available to assist us. The concierge desk provided helpful guidance for exploring the island. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing beach getaway.
